The seduction of attack
Name calling, ugly memes, slander, bullets—they all draw blood—and satisfaction.
I recently had an online conversation with a friend of mine who is rabid in his hatred of Donald Trump—hatred beyond all reason. Not even what has essentially been a political coup by the democratic party by illegally shoving Kamala Harris into Biden's state-delegate-nominated spot at the Democratic convention can sway his "Anybody but Trump" mindset.
I was disturbed by his vehemence and the energy of violence behind his words. But then, as I'm sure you've noticed, few of us sitting on the sidelines or in the political arena itself seem interested in temperance and reason anymore.
Few, aside from, perhaps, RFK, Jr., seem interested in (or even capable of) debate. There is little to no understanding of the actual election process which the DNC's high-handed substitution of Harris has abrogated. And even less discussion of the presidential candidates' actual voting records and policies, let alone the agendas behind Trump's 220 and Biden's 141 Executive Orders which Harris, it is to be assumed, approved.
It's all canned rhetoric, lies, posturing, and attack.
But after talking with my friend, it suddenly hit me that I was being just as bad as him and everyone else frothing at the mouth over these elections.
I might not be spitting bile and waving a hate-filled sign on a street corner. But I was posting political memes that were caustic and angry. Most were mean in a "funny" way. But they were still mean. Which inescapably falls into the "attack energy" category, clearly adding to the overall divisiveness in this world and not helping anything or anyone along a higher path.
It was a bitter pill to swallow, seeing myself as a "hater" along with so many others ... and even more difficult to admit how pleasurable the "hater" stance could be.
Posting witty sarcastic memes is fun!
It's so delicious getting in a mean, on-target dig. You know? And there's no real push back. Facebook algorithms guarantee that only people aligned with my views see my posts anyway. So, my friends aren't going to punish me. Certainly, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris aren't ever going to know what I say or where I stand. Or care.
So, what have I got to lose? Right?
Except maybe decency and my basic humanity.
Sources of hatred and violence
I spoke last week about how humanity has been programmed to value and express only the yang/masculine half of the spectrum of life. And today I'd like to go a step further and talk about patriarchy and boldly state that:
Patriarchy is not man's creation.
Patriarchy is the deliberate exaggeration and defilement of the masculine/yang principle by design of elitist factions as a method of societal division, conflict and control.
If we take the energetic qualities of the positive electromagnetic charge (yang/masculine) and completely divorce them from the qualities and influence of the negative electromagnetic charge (yin/feminine), it's easy to see how the yang qualities of hardness, pointedness, strength, externality, linearity, action, structure, fixedness, singularity, isolation, and light can become exaggerated and ultimately destructive.
Once successfully isolated and unbalanced, the quality of hardness that permits rocks and mountains to exist can become impenetrable, unyielding inflexibility. Linearity, fixedness, and action can create a tidal wave of unstoppable destruction that takes out everything in its path. Structure, deliberately pushed to extremes and elevated above organic fluidity and intuition, builds a prison. Logic without love chains us to the prison walls.
Strength can be twisted into power-over dynamics and attack.
Bottomline, the social construct we experience today called patriarchy has resulted from the deliberate over exaggeration and elevation of the qualities defining the masculine/yang principle with the intended purpose of creating exactly what we have today: a vicious, unbalanced, destructive, materialistic, driven society that has no soul, no joy, little love, compassion, and respect for life, and no "OFF" switch.
21st century coliseum
There isn't much difference in training attack dogs and training soldiers by brutalizing them in basic training—dehumanizing and pitting them against one another, rewarding for aggression.
Ridley Scott's iconic film Gladiator, filmed in 2000, shows how easy it is to wrest a man from ethical rationality, hurling him into savagery. Slaughter his wife and child and sell him into slavery. Then put a sword in his hands and reward his pain-driven rage.
Today, the Roman Colosseum is an ancient ruin, but the political purpose behind its function remains the same: Glorify and normalize violence, entrain the masses with blood and fear, thus promoting a consciousness of attack guaranteed to maintain conflict at all levels of society.
Relentless programming teaching violence and aggression from cradle to grave has been ongoing for hundreds of generations. We are told that war is just a fact of life on this planet. And with two World Wars and hundreds of localized, territorial wars started since the early 20th century, who could believe otherwise?
Since the 1950s, we've added non-stop violent visual and interactive "entertainment" (aka propaganda) to the mix. Out of 3,000 studies on TV violence, 2,888 show there is a direct correlation between watching violence on the screen and violence in real life.1 But despite such findings, the violent programming is only getting worse.
In 2008, the Pew Research Center reported that 97 percent of children ages 12 to 17 play some type of video game and that two-thirds of those games are action and adventure games with violent content.2
“Blood and gore. Intense violence. Strong sexual content. Use of drugs.” These are just a few of the phrases that the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) uses to describe the content of these “games.”
The vast majority of psychological studies on gaming show that video games increase aggressive behavior and increase negative thoughts and emotions in children, potentially leading to mental illness. They also create a sense of distance from real life and an increasing numbness and lessened concern for others.3 But the violence and sexual content in gaming is only getting more intense, graphic and realistic.
Between the elevation and twisting of yang energetics and the non-stop promotion of battle and blood, is it any wonder that violence is spilling over into everyday life and into politics?
Tell a man or woman his/her God is threatened. His/her home. His/her family. His/her people. His/her way of life. His/her most precious ideals. Teach them violence is not only acceptable but praiseworthy. Give them a gun and point them towards the "enemy"—the other who's been told her/his God, home, family, people, way of life, and most precious ideals are threatened—and watch what happens.
The current US presidential election season is a perfect example.
Foregoing temptation
I realized if I was going to take my friend to task for adding more unnecessarily negative energy to the current political fray, I had to stop my own negative actions which were clearly adding to the divisiveness in the world and not helping anything.
No more being a hypocrite, talking about "love" and "healing" out of one side of my mouth while spewing nastiness out the other side.
So, I wrote my friend and told him I was cleaning up my act and that I was going to stop posting ugly memes altogether and live up to my own ideals.
Ah ... but pulling in my claws hasn't been easy! Like hundreds of millions of fellow Americans, I too feel my home is politically threatened, along with family and friends and all my basic human rights and most precious ideals. How can I not cast stones and wade into the fray if I feel that one side is inherently better than the other?
But, well, that's just the point. I don't feel that way at all.
Years of research have taught me that the idea of opposing political parties is a mirage—an illusion designed to give the masses some sense of power and control over the government running their lives. That the global elites have been the puppeteers pulling all the political strings and policies for eons. That no matter what party is selected in what nation, the ultimate, well-planned outcome will eventually be the same:
Global totalitarian control.
Which means I actually have no excuse at all to keep indulging in the attack energies on one person and party over the other.
Oh ... but the personality still has opinions!! And I don't know about yours. But my personality loves feeling on the righteous side of things no matter what the argument is—or even whether the argument is meaningful or not.
Sigh.
So, what to do?
Understand context
Last week I talked about how I was getting in touch with how seriously my innate kindness and love—the innate kindness and love that can be found in most humans—have been overridden by deliberate social programming. How I have been trained to marginalize the softer, more cooperative, sensitive, patient, and supportive side of my humanity in favor of fear, competition, and desires for dominance.
This week's conversation about patriarchy and the twisting of the masculine/yang energetics into aggression, violence and attack is just a continuation of the same thread.
If competition, scarcity, survival fears, and terror of the "other" have been bred into us. If judgment, conflict, and violence have been exalted. If killing and blood, abuse and mayhem have been "fun and games" since we were infants with our first Xbox controller in our hands ... what else can we expect but violence towards one another?
How can we possibly expect cooperation? Love? Peace? How can we possibly expect rational discussion of heated topics designed to foster conflict?
I look at the picture of the ferocious tiger above and can imagine the blood-thirsty howls of spectators in the Roman Colosseum as it charged some hapless victim ... a slave, a pregnant Christian peasant girl, an exhausted gladiator. How the violence of the spectacle was enjoyed and how the terror and blood lust only begged for the creation of more and more of the same.
And I realize, if we don't wake up and watch out, this is where much of a dehumanized humanity is headed.
Crazed and howling for blood ourselves, we see the tiger as a mirror—an insensate beast wired only to kill and slaughter; a beast whose violence only deserves mindless slaughter in return. But is this really the tiger's true nature?
Not at all. The tiger, in his natural environment, is quite temperate and only kills to eat. Just like us.
But, just like us, the tiger has been held captive, tortured, starved. and abused. Forced into an unnatural situation, crazed with pain and fear ... he attacks. Not because he wants to. Not because it’s his nature. But because he has been driven out of his mind and has no choice.
Turning point
People wonder why and how people can commit awful, cruel, despicable acts. This is how.
It is no exaggeration to say that, like the tiger, humanity is being deliberately driven out of its collective mind. And if you're wondering to what end, it's very straightforward and simple:
Once we come to the place where we hate and fear ourselves enough, we will gratefully, willingly turn our sovereignty and freedom over to the Powers That Be who keep telling us they have the answers to all our problems. Who tell us that, for our own safety and the survival of the planet, we must surrender our will and individual autonomy for the greater good.
So, what's the answer to all this?
Personally, I'm doing my best to take responsibility for my own unwarranted attack impulses. I'm doing my best to understand the shadows and negative programming and wounds in my life driving unconscious anger and aggression towards myself and others. I'm open to seeing where I'm vulnerable to programming. And I'm asking to be shown where I'm not living up to my own understanding of what love is and how love acts.
I’ve also committed to staying well informed about what’s really going on so that I can make wise decisions. And by “well informed” I don’t mean switching on the TV and listening to globalist-owned commercial news organizations or following social media.
Unfortunately, many people I know say they don’t want to subject themselves to “negative information,” using that as an excuse to stay “uninvolved.”
But the nature of life itself is interconnection and involvement. We are all influenced by and influence others no matter what we do or don’t do, know or don’t know.
But how, may I ask, am I contributing to my life and the lives of others by being clueless? How can I possibly navigate perilous waters without knowing what I’m navigating? Or help others?
As for not wanting to be overwhelmed by negativity—that’s my whole point here. Just because I see and hear, know and understand much, if not most of the terrible things being perpetrated upon humanity during these times, doesn’t mean I must inevitably become negative myself and drown in a sea of misery.
To see the shadows is not to be overtaken by them.
To see the shadows is to witness their insubstantial lifeless nature and shine the light of love and wisdom upon them, as well as those caught in their grip. To see both the shadows and the light and to understand them as best we can is an elevation in perspective. An elevation that is the gateway to liberation.
And at this point, we need all the liberation we can get.
Much love and aloha ~

Cracking the Matrix: 14 Keys to Individual & Global Freedom
For thousands of years, every culture on Earth has described a hostile, invisible Intelligence bedeviling humanity, dragging us down. The Archons, AshShaytān, wetiko, windingo, e'epa, antimimos, Satan ... the names are legion.
Cracking the Matrix explores the astounding history and nature of what humanity has erroneously labeled "evil" on this planet, helping people finally see the very real, negative, interdimensional influence that exists behind historic and current global events and our social decline.
The book outlines how to break free of this Force's ancient controlling agenda and how people can stand up in the power of their true spiritual nature, ready to create the New Heaven and the New Earth that have so long been prophesied.

Explores what's behind the curtain ... the illusions, programs, ideas and agendas keeping us from knowing Who We Really Are and creating the world we know is possible.
Thank you, Cate, for the nuanced noticing that typically goes unseen and unexpressed.
If we don't clean up our own acts - I suspect Nature will step in and push us along, or out altogether.
The learning curve is getting steeper by the day. We will each have to decide for ourselves, what that unique mix of staying informed, staying grounded, staying kind and compassionate and saying no when needed, is, as we proceed.
I appreciate the self-reflection and honesty within a larger context that is typically ignored.
Best.
Ah my friend… my Leo friend I can so hear you on the phone with that guy. You could have given Harris what for in a debate. You are the queen of sarcastic memes and some of the funniest “right on” ones I’ve ever seen. Precisely the reason I’m trying to back pedal out of social media land. If I don’t I’ll get censored and for what purpose? Certainly not to stay informed. To respond to a threatening post? They are being paid to write triggering content. No matter what you say, how fact based, how reasonable they will still attack. (Thank you for mentioning RFK btw … the only adult in the room). God forbid I get sucked into a thread with a bot. Why am I doing this? So I can stay informed? Huh-uh. To keep up with the four friends I still have you being one of them? Honestly the only benefit out of that relationship is to see your sarcastic memes, now that’s been gone. Or is it? Can you resist? Get out now before your social credit scores bring you down … those algorithms work both ways. I’ve already quit Fb and insta 3 times and re-upped. I’m watching Dr Phil and Tucker Carlson and Joe Rogan and reading substacks to get my news. How long will substack remain free? X? Elon’s like a creepy hero. They use algorithms too and Elon could sell. They play bash the billionaire and we are the bumpers. For me it started with Space Invaders. See where that got us?
