After reading John Leake's Substack article "Goodbye Lahaina" I felt that some initial posts discussing the idea that Directed Energy Weapons (DEW) might have caused the Maui fire were just the usual conspiracy fantasies and that maybe the simplest explanation (gleaned from his article) that an unfortunate combination of a bone dry and relatively unprotected landscape, a wayward spark, and hurricane-like high winds were the best explanation for the apocalyptic devastation. However, when I dug deeper, I started to feel less sure. Like you said Cate, there are many things that don't match up and make the story much more complicated. My prayers go out to those directly affected, let's hope they get all the unconditional help they need.
So much gratitude, Cate. Yours is the best article I've read on the topic(s)--balanced, supportive, and supported by (a bit of) science. It is causal in the deeper sense of the "human parable."

What a powerful, well-founded article/essay, Cate! I'm new to your stack and am glad I found it. I hope I didn't miss anything (apologies if I did), but I don't understand what you wrote here:

Hi Katherine - Excellent question. You'd have to read my book to get a full handle on the answer. Although even that might not help because the actual nature of this invisible, interdimensional influence is slippery at best. In the course of my research, after reading Paul Levy's excellent book on the subject, "Wetiko: Healing the Mind Virus That Plagues Our World," I closed the book and realized I still didn't have any genuine understanding of what we're dealing with. It's like trying to grab and hold onto a chimera.
The best I can put it is these beings are influencers ... and because their nature is antithetical to life itself—I often refer to them as anti-life beings—when they influence us through mental imagery, thoughts, emotions and promptings to take certain actions, the promptings take us to our lowest common denominator. The old image of the devil on one shoulder urging us to do "bad things," is actually pretty accurate.
The reason I say this Presence is not evil per se, is because its nature is entropic. It lowers our light. It quenches love. It diminishes the life force. It feeds on our shadow material and uses it to drive humans to commit evil acts simply in order to feed on the powerful emotions that are released when heinous acts—war, torture, murder, rape etc.—are committed between both the victim of wetiko's influence and the victim's victim. (If you ever wondered why war is so prevalent on this planet, here is your answer.)
Great job as usual Cate. The reports are coming in from those who have escaped. Heard from a fella the locals call “Fish”…quite an amazing old timer. He escaped on foot, doesn’t even own a car. He asked the police why they were blocking the roads so people couldn’t get out & the police responded that he was doing his job. I do hope the Truth is uncovered before Lahaina becomes a “Smart City”. Keep up the good work.
Cate, I just ordered your book. Ive been running through my head the situation of “evil” in this world since august 2021 when I put 2 and 2 together and figured out that when I put Satan at the top it all makes horrific sense. Every single thing. It’s been hard being the only one I know who sees this. Pastors don’t. I left my church then because of the inability of it to address the attacks we are all receiving. Apparently in my congregation new pastors were told to avoid talking about the devil and evil. These substacks are the only place I can talk about it.
Hi Janet - Unfortunately religion has trivialized the presence of a full-on interdimensional Intelligence interfering with humans for thousands of years on this planet by creating a ridiculous representation which has been labeled THE Devil - one overarching being out to thwart God's plan. And because people don't understand the actual nature, modus operandi and actual agenda of these invisible intelligences, they are left totally unequipped to deal with them. The truth is quite simple actually and the agenda rather genius: Humans are actually beings of Pure Love and powerful creators. The Archons desire what we are and have, though they do not understand it. They are an anti-life manifestation and are incapable of knowing love because they come from a completely different source than us.
The plan is to insinuate into our thoughts the belief that WE are evil—that WE are anti-life parasites. That WE are what IT is. That way, as the powerful creative beings that we are, we diminish our own Light, we turn away from love in our deluded state of shame, and thus make ourselves available as vessels to this anti-life parasite.
WE are beings of love, and if we stay in touch with our true nature and do not let ourselves be seduced by the lie perpetrated by these beings that is it US that is evil, the Archons —who don't have the power to pick up a pencil — cannot harm us. There is no need to fight this Presence (fighting merely feeds it energy and gives it more juice to operate here here). If we come back to Who We Really Are, beings of pure love and ACT from that love—they will fade away to the nothing that they actually are.
Thank you. Why I have bought your book. To make some sense of all of his because, frankly, this seems strange. But I know there is evil, demons or whatever you call them. But I am equally looking to God for discernment. He is in my life. He saved mine by allowing me to see the deception of covidand then life saving information cascaded into my life and strength to resist . I believe there is room for whatever God decided and whatever or whoever he uses for good and love. I’ll read your book with interest. I have an open mind. Blessings.
