On the subject of embodiment as the opposite of conventional meditation, I recently came across a phone app called Undo--recommended by Amandha Vollmer, the brilliant, no-nonsense Canadian naturopath. It changes the whole notion of meditation from getting out of the body to getting into it, reconnecting with our senses, feeling the feelings in our body without thinking about them, and in these and other ways becoming more embodied than we have ever been. I'm finding it the perfect aid for, as you put it, becoming more REAL!
Another wonderful and thoughtful piece. Thanks so much for sharing your insight. Debra
You're on fire! So inspiring and right-on.
