Last week, I was helping a friend find her lost cat. (The runaway sister to my own two teenage felines.) We were talking to a local guy who feeds stray cats, showing him pictures of Chee, asking if he'd seen her. He said, "No." But, being a nice guy who feeds stray cats, he said, "I'll keep an eye out for her. Just leave me your phone number."
Next thing you know, out of the blue he asks, "So ... who you votin' for?"
Instantly the congenial mood evaporated. Tension shot through the air. My friend managed to get out, "I'd rather not talk about it" before giving the guy her number. Me? I choose to cut and run. "Gotta go!" I said. "Bye!"
There's a reason my parents trained me not to talk about religion or politics at the dinner table. Neither topic is conducive to sane discourse. And that was 50 years ago!
Nowadays, nothing about the subject of politics is sane. But with the world in desperate straits and the US presidential election two months away, it's on everyone's mind. Forget the fact that we'd known this guy for like five minutes. He really wanted to know.
But which answer would be the right answer, solidifying his alliance in the cat-finding project for my friend? Which answer would be the wrong answer, triggering animosity and enmity, perhaps even jeopardizing cat rescue efforts?
Who knew? Best not to go there.
And we didn't.
Limited Options
"So, what are your feelings every time politics comes up nowadays? What are your emotions? Your thoughts? Is there anxiety? Do you sense an energy of division? Conflict? Anger? Aggression? Force? Fear?"
I asked a friend these questions a few days ago. And I ask them here again of you. "What are your feelings every time politics comes up nowadays? What are your emotions? Your thoughts? Is there anxiety? Do you sense an energy of division? Conflict? Anger? Aggression? Force? Fear?"
Concerning the 2024 US presidential election, my bet is that rare is the person who wouldn't tick the box "All the Above."
But here's the thing: these are the emotions that negative high-frequency beings and the Global Elite deliberately foster across the world in order to keep humanity in a state of constant conflict and chaos. This is the emotional energy field that makes us manipulatable and controllable. This is the emotional energy field that makes us seek security in habit and obedience.
This is the emotional energy field that imprisons us ... making us willingly hand over our freedoms and sovereignty in exchange for promises of safety, stability, and protection.
Unfortunately, few people seem to understand this. Few see the current political show in the US for what it actually is.
A contentious farce designed to create mass conflict.
Doing my duty
I ran across a statistic not long ago stating that over 70 percent of young people grow up and maintain membership in the same religion as their parents. Perhaps the same is true of party politics. I don't know.
I confess the first time I voted on Tuesday, November 7, 1972, I voted my parent's party, helping incumbent Republican President Richard Nixon defeat Democratic Senator George McGovern in a landslide victory. Tuesday, November 2, 1976 was a different story. At age 25, out of the Republican nest for four years, struggling to make my own way in the world, I switched parties and voted democratic, helping former Georgia governor Jimmy Carter narrowly defeat incumbent Republican President Gerald Ford.
I never looked back, voting democratic in every election right up through the year 2020. I didn't always vote a straight ticket. I tried to be open minded and base my votes on the actual voting records of individuals on the issues that mattered to me no matter what party they represented. But basically, I voted to support the little guy and the environment over the Fat Cats and resource exploitation.
Because wasn't that what the two-party system of Republican and Democrat really represented? The Haves and the wannabe Haves versus the Have-nots, artists and environmentalists? Wasn't money fundamentally the political dividing line of American politics? Wasn't it the same in other nations in the world?
Hadn't money, power, and control historically been pitted against individual sovereignty, human dignity, and freedom in nations across the world forever?
Sides
I love America. Her shining principles. Her heart. Her hope. I love how she was founded. I love what's she's been to so many. What's she's stood for and what's she's accomplished. I love the beacon of freedom she's been. I love all the opportunities she's given me.
But the two-party governmental system has always bothered me because it inevitably boils politics down to opposing values and taking sides. And if by democratic we mean something vaguely resembling "fair," then the two-party system is not really all that democratic. I mean what on earth is egalitarian about almost half of a country's citizenry at any given time not getting the government they desire just because their representative lost the election?
One party getting in and developing legislation that goes against the will of millions of people in the opposing party just seems wrong.
Of course, when actually very little changes regarding social conditions for the Have-nots (no matter who is in office) and restless voters switch sides and the other party gets in and eliminates previous legislation, thus disenfranchising all the millions of people on the previous majority's side, it all balances out.
But the endless see-sawing back and forth between parties and policies—accomplishing little for the general citizenry despite all the rhetoric, fanfare and money spent—also bothered me. It all seemed such a waste! But I didn't dwell on the subject. After all, this was America, the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. We were the ones doing government right.
Right?
Wakeup call
But then came COVID and the awful, terrible waking up to the matrix of illusion that has the world in its grip. Including—sadly—the illusion that America is the same country she was before President John F. Kennedy was assassinated a week after announcing he was going to take down the corrupt CIA and military industrial complex.
She's not the same country at all.
True democracy is already long gone. It left when the central banking system was instituted in 1913 (against the Constitution) and the Global Powers That Be gained control of our money system.
Humanity left when corporations were legally given the same rights and protections as human beings.
Decency, trust, and humble servitude to the people left when corporate lobbying was introduced.
Safety and privacy evaporated with the rise of the military industrial complex.
Democratic election determined by representation—the foundation of the Constitution and democracy itself—was just destroyed when Harris was declared the Democratic presidential candidate with no primary voting and candidate selection by the people.
Even if Biden had been officially declared incompetent (which he hasn't) and Harris legally replaced him as per Constitutional procedure, she still would need to go through the democratic process of being selected by the people through representatives, and then represented by those elected delegates at a convention.
This did not happen.
The fact that Harris is already de facto president and Biden erased from view with no constitutionally legal due process is exactly what it is: a political coup.
I'm not giving up on America. I'm not. But the curtain has been pulled back and the wizard of Oz stands exposed.
At this point, I have absolutely no faith in any candidate and any party and any given set of promises. Thus, with a heavy heart, I find it impossible to participate in the farce called the 2024 US elections.
It’s time for genuine change
If you've read my book Cracking the Matrix: 14 Keys to Individual & Global Freedom you have all the information needed to understand that the political party system in the US—as well as in the UK and other self-declared democracies—was infiltrated by negative Globalist forces long ago. Different names. Different policies. Same long-term overarching agenda:
Global totalitarian control
Not to be depressing, but this has always been the Long Game folks. It doesn't matter which political road you take ... because the game is rigged and all roads lead to Rome eventually.
So, what's the answer?
I've referenced this turning point in human history so many times in this column. That we are at the time and place in history where it's imperative to focus on the only choice that matters: Expanding in consciousness to become the New Human, turning away from factionism, groupism and fear, manipulation and controversy, and, yes, poli-tricks and anything else that creates division, hatred and extremism.
The only way out of the trap that's been set for us is to follow the sage advice of Albert Einstein who pointed out that change cannot happen unless there is a change in the consciousness of humanity.
Divide and conquer is the oldest play in the book. So is bread and circuses.
So, what is the opposite move?
The way out is to wholeheartedly turn to life principles and embrace only the things that nurture life, that support healthy growth, that foster community, mutual support, comradery, evolution, and love. The only way out of the circus is to actually start living as Yeshua Ben Joseph recommended two thousand years ago, by treating one another as we would treat ourselves. (No masochists allowed.)
Only the New Human can create the New Earth that's so long been prophesized. How we get there ... I don't know for sure. Certainly, I'm clueless on the details. But I know for certain that we get there, not by focusing our time and energies on what's broken and wrong—IE. any system of control that was built upon the foundational lie of human weakness and stupidity and the need for hierarchy and "leaders"—but on what's beautiful and nurturing and right.
Human beings are spirit beings of pure love. We innately know what's right and what's wrong. It's time to follow the path of the heart and the wisdom of the Earth—none of which is represented by the Old Systems of governing.
It's time to let that which is not of love fall into the pit of chaos that is its own inevitable creation.
What will rise from the ashes is us. You and me and all the others dedicated to the freedom and wellbeing of all humans and all creatures and beings of this Earth.
We will find our way together. But first we have to let go what is dragging us in the opposite direction.
Much love and aloha ~
PS - I beg the pardon of authors Roger Zelazny and Robert Sheckley for borrowing their most excellent book title for this essay, and the cover art that goes with it. But the title and imagery reflect the preposterousness of the US 2024 election campaign to such a degree, I couldn't let it pass.

Check out the book:
Cracking the Matrix: 14 Keys to Individual & Global Freedom
For thousands of years, every culture on Earth has described a hostile, invisible Intelligence bedeviling humanity, dragging us down. The Archons, AshShaytān, wetiko, windingo, e'epa, antimimos, Satan ... the names are legion.
Cracking the Matrix explores the astounding history and nature of what humanity has erroneously labeled "evil" on this planet, helping people finally see the very real, negative, interdimensional influence that exists behind historic and current global events and our social decline.
The book outlines how to break free of this Force's ancient controlling agenda and how people can stand up in the power of their true spiritual nature, ready to create the New Heaven and the New Earth that have so long been prophesied.

Hi Cate! Thank you for your article and insight. Yes, from my experience and knowledge everything you said is true. Once the global realization occurred to me, instead of giving up, I have turned to doing my best to focus on the love for my grandchildren, the joy I receive when I am able to assist an elderly family members, and my gratitude for the abundance my wife and I have.
I no longer attempt to unravel the nonsense associated with political candidates or the current global conspiracies'. Again, thank you for the stimulating article.
